The Mantra of Madhya Pradesh's Development: Self-Reliant Women
The Government of India had directed the states to choose a subject for their tableaux from the two themes of "Developed India" and "Mother of Democracy" for this year's tableaux. In this sequence, Madhya Pradesh has prepared a tableau based on the theme of "The Mantra of Development: Self-Reliant Women" based on Madhya Pradesh's women empowerment model under the theme of Developed India.
This tableau showcasing the women power of the state will feature replicas of India's first woman fighter pilot, Avni Chaturvedi of Rewa, and Smt. Lahari Bai, who is known as the Millet Woman of India, along with the work done by women of self-help groups, world-famous Chanderi, Maheshwari, and Bagh print sarees made by women weavers, various paddy varieties, world-famous Gond paintings, mural art, stone carving of the state, wall paintings made of grain, and folk dance performances by women artists of Malwa.
The tableau of Madhya Pradesh will be seen by the people of the state on the D-Mart path in New Delhi during the Republic Day parade after a long gap this year. Earlier, Madhya Pradesh had got this opportunity in the year 2019.
