No instructions to write owners name on the shop board: MP Government

The Urban Development and Housing Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh has clarified that there are no official instructions from either the department or the government regarding the requirement to display shop owners' names on boards for shops located along routes used by Kavad pilgrims. 

The department addressed reports from certain sources suggesting that it is mandatory to list shop owners' names, emphasizing that there is no such obligation. Instead, shop boards should comply with the "Madhya Pradesh Outdoor Advertising Media Rules, 2017," which do not mandate the display of shop owners' names. The department has advised all urban bodies to avoid spreading confusion on this matter.

Ramniwas Rawat - Forest and Environment Department

The state government has allocated portfolio of Forest and Environment Department to Minister Shri Ramniwas Rawat. It has been published in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette. Minister Shri Nagar Singh Chauhan will now have the responsibility of Scheduled Caste Welfare Department.
